No. Animal testing has been banned in Western perfumery for several decades. We are absolutely 100% against animal testing.

The raw materials that we use in our products are all vegetable or mineral derived, we do not use animal-derived raw materials.The raw materials we use are all cosmetic grade and have not been tested on animals for the purposes of use in cosmetics.

Yes. Our products do not contain animal ingredients.

Yes. Our products are phthalate -free.With all of our ingredients, we are careful to follow the strict IFRA standards and the European cosmetics guidelines.

Fragrances consist of a concentrate of perfume, alcohol and water. The differences are simply a matter of the amount or concentration of oils in the fragrance. These oils are called "juice." The highest concentration of "juice" is in perfume (or parfum). Next would be Eau de Parfum, then Eau de Toilette. The percentages of the concentrations are 11% to 20% for an 'Eau de Parfum' and 6% to 10% for an 'Eau de Toilette’. The higher the concentration of "juice" the longer your fragrance will last, and the less you need to apply.

Apply it where the skin is warm with good blood circulation, because the heat helps diffuse and magnify the aroma of fragrance. Spray/dab on your ‘hot spots’, or pulse points – below the ear lobes (not behind), temples, wrists, nape of neck, back of the knees, in the crease of your elbows, navel area. Apply very concentrated perfumes (like Extracts) on neck or under the wrist for best effect.

Our perfumes are very stable and are designed to be used and stored in a normal way.Keep all fragrance in a cool, dry area, and away from windows as sunlight can unbalance the various ingredients. An opened bottle should be kept in its box to insure a longer shelf life.

We use 100% organic perfumer's alcohol in all our perfumes. This alcohol is harmless and act like a ingredient carrier for aroma.

You're probably allergic to the nasty chemical ingredients in commercial perfumes (those chemicals are, filled with hormone disruptors and all sorts of junk!) We recommend you carefully try our perfume to see if it has the same reaction....maybe start with a small patch test on your skin, or dabbing the scent on a tissue to smell.Our discovery set is the best way to explore and start the journey.

Yes. The alcohol we use is a non-synthetic fermentation grade. Perfume needs a carrier in order to extend a shelf life indefinitely and dilute the ingredients to a skin-safe level. Perfume carriers include oil and alcohol. Alcohol makes the fragrance emanate from your skin. Without alcohol, you would be the only person who knew you were wearing any fragrance at all.

People with dry skin usually find their fragrance holding time shorter than those with oily skin because oily skin has more natural moisture to hold in the fragrance. PH levels (amount of acidity in our skin) also varies slightly from person to person. Our individual levels of PH will determine how each ingredient in a fragrance will react.

We recommend layering your fragrance to achieve a long lasting effect. Layer your fragrance to extend its life. Perfumes also do not last on too dry skin. If that is the case, apply either a (truly) unscented body lotion, or one that matches your perfume. Each reinforces the impact of the other to increase the life of your favourite scent.

No. When you cold sniff an open bottle, your nose inhales the volatile top notes. A fragrance needs to be applied to your skin to come alive. It blooms as it reacts with the warmth of your body to create a fragrance that is unique to you.

It must be olfactory fatigue hence the sense of smell classically cuts off within minutes. After constant stimulation our senses get tired. You cannot move away from your own perfume, you become used to it. You may think it has disappeared, but others can still smell it.

We believe that all fragrances should in principle be unisex, worn by either men or women based on their personal preferences. Our scents are created without necessarily a gender in mind.

Yes; our perfumes are vegan-friendly - we do not use animal products in our formulations. And we do not test on animals.
